Mantic Games Details AdeptiCon 2026 Plans with Demos, Painting Classes, Exclusives

AdeptiCon is nearly here, and the Mantic crew is rolling into Milwaukee with crates full of excitement, tabletop energy, and a few surprises tucked between the sprues," Mantic Games wrote on its blog post by rick.hall dated February 23, 2026, announcing a slate of demos, painting classes, event-exclusive previews, and show deals for AdeptiCon. Mantic paired that copy with a list of brand logos including Halo: Flashpoint, Kings of War, Champions, Armada, Firefight, Deadzone, Epic Warpath, The Walking Dead, Hellboy, and Dungeon Adventures, and urged fans to pre-register by the February 27 deadline.

Mantic framed the visit as its "biggest slate of demos, events, and reveals yet!" and promised "Show Specials: Expect convention-only deals, bundles, and early-release items that won’t last long. Swing by early to secure the good stuff!" The post also invited attendees to "Bring your strike teams and armies, claim glory, and enjoy some of the most energetic competitive play of the year," and signed off with "See you in Milwaukee! The Mantic Games Team."

AdeptiCon itself is expanding into Milwaukee’s Baird Center at 400 W Wisconsin Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53203 after a showing of 10,000 attendees in 2025. AdeptiCon’s site highlights "24 YEARS AND COUNTING!" and notes it has grown from 110 people in 2003 into "well over 1600 tournaments, event games, and hobby seminars." AdeptiCon posted on January 28, 2026 that "Just a little over two weeks into registration, AdeptiCon 2026 attendance is already outpacing last year's numbers. As we enter our second year in Milwaukee, AdeptiCon 2026 is on track to become our largest event yet..."

Other exhibitors and event organizers are publishing firm session details ahead of the show. Atomic Mass Games' events preview dated December 15, 2025 lists championship tournaments and narrative missions for Star Wars: Shatterpoint, Star Wars: Legion, and Marvel: Crisis Protocol and gives sample session data such as Recon - 9:00 to 15:00 - 16 players - 4 rounds and Special Ops - 9:00 to 15:00 - 16 players - 3 rounds. Atomic Mass also scheduled presentations including "Atomic Mass Games Roadmap" on Friday 19:30 to 21:00 with capacity 100 plus and "Path of the Worthy Awards Presentation" Sunday 11:00 to 11:30 with capacity 50, plus hands-on painting classes like "Lava and Ice Basing - STAR WARS bases" with Brendan Roy 8:00 to 10:00 Thursday and "Making Yellow Fast and Interesting" with Dallas Kemp 10:30 to 12:30 Thursday.

One Page Rules announced drop-in Age of Fantasy Siege sessions and a "Bash of the Titans!" free-for-all that will provide promotional minis to each participant, and its Learn to Play sessions promise a free One Page Rules promotional miniature for every player. AdeptiCon’s news feed also notes that Badger Games unveiled the subject for this year’s annual painting competition in a January 28 post.

With Mantic’s Feb 27 pre-registration cutoff now past and Atomic Mass Games listing limited-capacity sessions such as 16-player Recon events, the convention floor looks likely to fill fast. Mantic’s blog warned that convention-only bundles and early-release items "won’t last long," and with AdeptiCon projecting continued growth after 10,000 attendees in 2025, expect tight lines at the Baird Center and quick sell-outs at exhibitor booths during the March 25–29 event.
