Nintendo Schedules 15-Minute Indie World Showcase for Switch and Switch 2
Nintendo will air a roughly 15-minute Indie World livestream March 3 at 6:00 a.m. PT / 9:00 a.m. ET showcasing indie releases for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.

A roughly 15-minute Indie World livestream will air March 3, starting at 6:00 a.m. PT / 9:00 a.m. ET, and will present indie games headed to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, the company announced March 2. Multiple outlets covering the announcement described the show as brief and focused on partner titles rather than first-party reveals.
Nintendo Life published a full regional time breakdown, listing North America start times as 6:00 a.m. PST, 7:00 a.m. MST, 8:00 a.m. CST and 9:00 a.m. EST, the UK at 2:00 p.m. GMT, Europe at 3:00 p.m. CET and 4:00 p.m. EET, and Asia and Oceania at 11:00 p.m. JST, 10:00 p.m. AWST and 1:00 a.m. AEDT the following day. Nintendo Life also noted a separate Japanese Indie World presentation will run around 25 minutes, a lengthier runtime than the global show.
Outlets largely agree on the core runtime. Engadget described the program as "roughly 15 minutes of news and updates on indie games coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch," and IGN's Wesley Yin-Poole wrote that the showcase "will provide 15 minutes of news and updates on indie games coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch." Nintendo Everything used a similar phrasing, stating "Expect the event to be about 15 minutes of long. Upcoming games for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch will be shown off here."
Coverage plans are already in place. Nintendo Everything told readers "We’ll have coverage of the presentation during and after the show. You can keep track of everything shown off as it happens here," and outlets including Nintendo Life, Engadget, IGN and GameSpot indicated they will report live and post-show. That logistical coordination matters for developers and PR teams who typically use Indie World slots to time trailers and storefront launches.

Context from recent showcases frames what to expect. IGN's Wesley Yin-Poole recapped the August 2025 Indie World, which featured Ball x Pit, Mina the Hollower (with Yacht Club Games announcing a console demo), Well Dweller, Content Warning on consoles, Glaciered, Herdling and Neverway. IGN also cited last month's Partner Showcase, which included a Switch 2 upgrade for the original Hollow Knight, a Switch 2 release date for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Resident Evil Requiem arriving "out now," and Bethesda ports such as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion.
Speculation in advance of March 3 ranges from plausible DLC reveals to imminent store launches. Engadget flagged the previously announced Sea of Sorrow DLC for Hollow Knight: Silksong as a potential surprise and reported Scott Pilgrim EX will be "available for download tomorrow," describing it as "a new side-scrolling fighter with four-player co-op and music by Anamanaguchi." Both Engadget and IGN cautioned that "this is not a Nintendo Direct, so don’t expect any news on upcoming Nintendo games," and Engadget added "That's not a whole lot of time, but indie trailers tend to be on the shorter side."
With just 15 minutes on the clock for the global stream and 25 minutes for the Japanese presentation, developers and publishers aiming for March 3 exposure should expect tightly packed trailers, brief announcements and outlet coverage during and after the broadcast.
