North Adams High School inducted five into its 2026 athletic hall of fame, honoring athletes and supporters with plaques that will be placed outside the gym.

North Adams High School welcomed five new members into its 2026 Athletic Hall of Fame, memorializing local achievements with plaques slated for display outside the school gymnasium. The induction was part of Hall of Fame Night, held during a varsity boys basketball game when the Green Devils hosted New Hope Christian.
The class includes two 2018 graduates with standout statistical records, a longtime school employee who is taking on a conference role, and two honorees whose full biographies were not detailed in initial coverage. The five names to be added to the wall are Charlee Louden, Rob Meade, Madee Shipley, Kenny Wilmoth and, designated as a Friend of North Adams, Rita Lucas. A photo by Tim Daulton shows the group together following the ceremony.
Madee Shipley, a 2018 graduate, was the North Adams starting soccer goalie for four years and holds multiple school records. Shipley recorded 31 career shutouts and 547 career saves, and is listed as the school record holder in career games, career saves and career save percentage. Shipley was named All-State in 2017 and earned soccer All-District and All-SHAC honors three times each.
Charlee Louden, also a 2018 graduate, is identified as North Adams’ volleyball record holder for most kills in a career, most kills in a season and most kills in a game. Louden finished her high school volleyball career with 1,083 kills, the record total cited by school coverage.
Rob Meade is described as a current North Adams High School teacher who has helped with the high school volleyball teams and been “a valuable asset to the program for the past 5 years.” Coverage notes that Meade is expected to continue his athletics work in the 2026-27 school year as the new Commissioner of the Southern Hills Athletic Conference.

Kenny Wilmoth appears on the induction roster but public reporting did not supply playing, coaching or service details. Rita Lucas was inducted under the designation Friend of North Adams; the coverage does not specify the actions or tenure that prompted that honor.
There will be five new plaques adorning the wall outside of the North Adams gymnasium, a visible recognition that preserves records and contributors for students and community members who walk the halls. For local residents, the Hall of Fame display reinforces connections between past and current Green Devils teams and highlights the school’s role in documenting athletic achievement.
School officials and the athletic program may provide fuller biographies or event details in coming weeks, including background on Wilmoth and Lucas and confirmation of plaque installation timing. The induction and the arrival of a Southern Hills Athletic Conference commissioner from North Adams point to continuing local influence in high school sports administration and community pride in Adams County athletics.
