Ozi, a Gurugram-based platform focused exclusively on baby and kids' products, raised $6.2 million in a Series A round led by RTP Global, with participation from existing investors Blume Ventures, Huddle Ventures, and Zeropearl VC. Angel investors in the round include retail veteran Kishore Biyani and founders from companies such as Unacademy, Mosaic Wellness, Livspace, Vetic, magicpin, Spinny, Pristyn Care, and Handpicked.

Ozi said the fresh capital will be used to deepen its presence across Gurugram and other parts of Delhi NCR, shore up tech and operational capabilities, and expand its product assortment. Brand building and strengthening consumer trust also feature among the stated priorities.

"I've seen how parents today move across platforms just to complete one basket," said Amit Sah, founder and CEO of Ozi. "Convenience is not just about a ten-minute delivery. It is about finding the right product, at the right time, from a trusted brand, without compromise, all in one place. Scale will be the natural outcome of solving convenience consistently for young parents."

Founded in 2025 by Amit Sah, Ozi was built around a friction modern parents frequently encounter: fragmented shopping experiences. Sah previously launched Zoplar, a business-to-business health tech startup, before turning his focus to the parenting category. The platform offers over 15,000 products for children in the 0 to 12 years age group, ranging from fashion, toys, nursing and feeding essentials, baby care, school essentials, pharmacy, everyday consumables, and gifting items to larger baby gear. Ozi operates 24x7 and provides delivery within 60 minutes, along with scheduled delivery options that allow parents to receive products at a time that best fits their day. The platform also features a "Try & Buy" option for clothing and product demos for larger equipment such as strollers.

The fundraise comes barely five months after the Delhi NCR-based quick commerce platform bagged $3.3 million in its seed round led by Blume Ventures. That seed round also saw participation from Huddle Ventures, Zeropearl VC, and Untitled Ventures. The rapid follow-on round reflects both Ozi's early traction and the broader investor appetite for verticalised quick commerce platforms going beyond groceries. The company claims 12x growth in five months since launch, expanding operations from Gurugram to Noida.

RTP Global's Madhur Makkar pointed to Sah's operational background as a key factor in the investment decision. "Amit brings strong, hands-on operational experience and a clear understanding of how modern parenting behaviour is evolving, from search-led transactions to trust-led, convenience-driven platforms. The discipline and clarity with which he is building OZi, investing early in leadership, systems and capability, are creating a strong foundation for scale."

Blume Ventures partner Sajith Pai, whose firm has backed Ozi since the seed stage, described the startup's early build-out in similarly strong terms. In under a year, Ozi went "from a blank sheet to a humming operation with a high-grade team, a robust warehouse backbone, and tightly run on-ground operations."

Ozi competes directly with Bengaluru-based Peeko as well as major quick commerce platforms like Zepto, Instamart, Blinkit, and BigBasket. Peeko raised $3.2 million in August 2025 led by Stellaris Venture Partners, while FirstCry's quick commerce arm Qwik represents another direct rival in the parenting segment. The category-specific angle separates Ozi from generalist players: its catalog spans diapers and daily consumables alongside strollers and school supplies, all through a single platform targeting dual-income households who lack the time to assemble purchases across multiple apps.

With NCR operations now spanning Gurugram and Noida, the Series A capital positions Ozi to push deeper into Delhi's broader metro ring before competition in the niche intensifies further.
