Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Waves Debuts Hyper Crimson Wavy Mudguard
Patta and Nike’s Air Max 1 “Waves” pack returns with a Hyper Crimson wavy mudguard, $150 retail, special packaging and a gold bracelet — Patta teases a March 6 drop via pattaxnike.com and Patta stores.

Patta and Nike reconvene around the Air Max 1 for a Waves pack that leans hard on a Hyper Crimson wavy mudguard and special extras, retailing at $150. Sole Retriever and Patta’s Instagram push a firm March 6, 2026 release through a custom pattaxnike.com site and Patta’s global stores, while Nike and other outlets list broader Spring or Summer 2026 windows.
Design reads like a tidy remix of past Patta AM1 work: the wave-shaped mudguard returns in a vivid orange-red Hyper Crimson that Hypebeast called the leading iteration, “showcasing the recognizable wavy mudguard dressed in a vibrant orange tone.” The upper pairs layered neutral greys in leather and mesh with contrasting Swoosh treatments - one Pure Platinum base landed with a stark black Swoosh, the companion pair leaning into white and platinum with a more colorful Swoosh. Soleretriever notes a cream-colored off-white midsole underscoring the two-tone mix.
This release is described across outlets as a two-colorway pack. JustFreshKicks and Sneaker Bar Detroit both list dual Hyper Crimson-driven variants; Sneaker Bar Detroit specifies one pair with a “bold crimson wave over a Pure Platinum base with a black Swoosh” and a second “lighter mix of white and platinum with a colorful Swoosh.” Style-code reporting differs between sources - II7055-100 appears in Hypebeast and JustFreshKicks for White/Hyper Crimson-Pure Platinum, while an II7055-800 code is cited in the original summary for Hyper Crimson. Both SKUs are reported; collectors should expect separate codes for each colorway.
Beyond silhouette details, Patta’s cultural markers are explicit. Sneaker Bar Detroit records that “Each pair includes a gold bracelet featuring Nike branding and the Surinamese flag. It quietly nods to the heritage of Patta founders Edson Sabajo and Guillaume Schmidt.” Multiple outlets show the pair arriving in special packaging alongside that bracelet; Sole Retriever described the Instagram commercial as one where “the shoe enters a psychedelic trance alongside the accompanying co-branded gold bracelet behind a blinking orange eyelash.”

Availability will span Patta’s in-store locations, nike.com and the pattaxnike.com microsite named in Sole Retriever’s reporting, with select retailers expected to carry the pack. Sole Retriever lists the release as available in men’s sizing and confirms the $150 MSRP echoed by Hypebeast, Sneaker Bar Detroit and JustFreshKicks.
This is Patta’s latest return to a motif it first popularized in 2009 with “Chlorophyll” and expanded through “The Wave” series in 2021 and 2022. Whether the March 6 timeline holds or the broader Spring/Summer windows prevail, the Hyper Crimson Waves pack underscores that Patta’s wavy mudguard has moved from a one-off flourish to a defining, repeatedly reworked signature in its Nike collaborations.
