Penn State Men’s Hockey Unveils New Wear White Uniforms with Gray Stripes

Penn State men’s hockey rolled out a pared-back, graphic White Out kit for the regular-season finale at Pegula Ice Arena against No. 11 Wisconsin, punctuated by what the team described as "The centerpiece of the jersey is a whited-out circular Penn State crest on the chest, offering a fresh take on a fan-favorite design." Social posts amplified the reveal, with an embedded tweet declaring "⚪🏒 SO. FRESH. SO. CLEAN. 🏒⚪#WeAre #HockeyValley" and an Instagram post noting the uniforms were unveiled for "tonight's regular season finale against Wisconsin ⚪️⚪️⚪️ #WeAre #PennState."

The visual language is restrained but deliberate: WTAJ and OnwardState report two horizontal gray stripes that run across the torso and sleeves, a direct echo of the original gray alternate worn from 2013 through 2017, and WTAJ specifies gray sleeves and numbers outlined in navy. OnwardState and WTAJ also call out a white collar with a thin navy stripe and a diamond-inspired "hanger effect," a throwback nod to Penn State football detailing, while Psucollegian notes the jerseys were released via X and described them as white with light gray horizontal stripes and a new center logo.
