Piaget Unveils Two Spring 2026 Limelight Gala Precious Editions
Piaget released two Limelight Gala Precious Spring 2026 editions in 32 mm, 18k rose gold with a slender 10 millimetre profile - one hand-engraved with a graduated gem setting, the other textured gold with diamonds.

Piaget unveiled two Limelight Gala Precious editions for Spring 2026 that double down on the collection’s curvaceous 32 mm silhouette and signature asymmetrical lugs while leaning overtly into high jewellery. Both new references retain the Limelight Gala proportions at 32 mm diameter and a slender 10 millimetre case profile, and both cases are sculpted in 18k rose gold.
One reference revives Piaget’s Décor Palace engraving and translates it into an all-over hand-engraved gold surface across bracelet and dial. Using the sharp tip of a burin, each groove is engraved by hand to create a textile-like, irregular pattern, so that no two watches will be identical. That model is finished with a graduated array of coloured gemstones set across the textured gold, a treatment Monochrome describes as models that “glow with a gradient setting of gemstones.”
The companion reference channels textured gold with concentrated diamond brilliance, marrying traditional goldsmithing to contemporary design language. Diamond World framed the pair as work that “bridges high watchmaking and high jewellery,” and Outlook Luxe noted that “their personalities could not be more distinct,” underscoring how Piaget has split the Limelight Gala’s DNA into two contrasting jewellery-watch expressions.
Underneath the high-jewellery finishes both pieces run on Piaget’s in-house automatic calibre 501P1. Outlook Luxe and Monochrome report that the calibre measures 3.6 mm in thickness and provides a 42-hour power reserve, dimensions Piaget used to preserve the watch’s 10 millimetre case profile while delivering automatic winding performance. Diamond World corroborated that the novelties house automatic movements, positioning the mechanics as a substantive partner to the ornamental work.
The new releases are explicitly linked to Piaget’s jewellery-watch lineage. Monochrome traces the technique revival to Piaget’s 1960s jewellery watches and cites the maison’s 1969 21st Century Collection at the Basel Fair, which showcased textured gold cuffs and hardstone dials driven by the ultra-thin 2 mm manual calibre 9P. The Limelight Gala’s asymmetric language reaches back to the 1973 predecessor designed by Jean-Claude Gueit; Piaget’s site frames the collection as “A celebration of the feminine” and “Master of refinement.”
Commercially, Piaget places the 2026 Limelight Gala Precious pieces at the ultra-luxury tier with selective availability. Diamond World and Piaget’s site indicate the watches will be offered on request through Piaget boutiques and authorized partners, aimed at an affluent female clientele and buyers seeking jewellery-watch hybrids. Retailers should expect merchandising opportunities where high-jewellery watches hold sway, though exact diamond counts, total carat weights, reference numbers and official prices were not published alongside the initial unveilings.
Taken together, the two Limelight Gala Precious editions present Piaget’s twin argument: artisanal goldwork and coloured gem-setting on one side, textured gold and diamond brilliance on the other, both supported by a slim automatic calibre that preserves the collection’s sleeker 10 millimetre profile. Piaget’s site sums the intent plainly: “Each timepiece showcases Piaget’s mastery, using the finest materials and meticulous attention to detail.”
