Play! Pickle launches two-hour Pickleball Coffee Rave in Serangoon on March 22

Play! Pickle will host the Pickleball Coffee Rave at its Serangoon location on Sunday, 22 March 2026, running 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with tickets from $58 per person that include brews from partner Lume Coffee. The promoter pitches the event as “Pickleball… but make it dancey and caffeinated,” and bills the two-hour session as a mash-up of coach-led instruction, open-play rotations, and a live coffee station.

The courts program splits play across two coaching courts and three open-play courts. Play! Pickle’s listing specifies the two courts will be coach-guided for beginners with structured practice and games, while the three open courts will use a rotation system where games are played to 11 points, groups switch after each game, and a paddle stack system signals who’s up next to keep rotations “smooth and fair.”

Coffee is central to the concept: a live Lume Coffee station will be on site and the $58 fee is described as including brews. The menu Play! Pickle published lists hot and iced options such as Americano or Long Black for black coffee; Flat White, Latte, and Cappuccino for white coffees; Mocha and Chocolate; and milk choices of fresh milk or oat milk. Play! Pickle also notes paddles and balls will be provided if needed.

Music and off-court space are built into the two-hour format. Play! Pickle says a curated high-energy playlist will run during the session and that a few times during the morning the bass will drop for 60-second “Paddles Up” dance breaks when participants raise paddles, wave them, and then resume play. The venue’s Groove Zone is promoted as “a space to sip your coffee, chill between games, and vibe to the music while you’re off-court.”

Play! Pickle Serangoon occupies 756 Upper Serangoon Road, #04-27, and the branch features five fully air-conditioned courts described in coverage as a pastel “pink playground” with café-style seating and sleek lines. The Coffee Rave will make use of the Serangoon layout’s split-zone model that Play! Pickle has already tested in its Night Live format, where courts and a club-style lounge operate as distinct spaces.

The Coffee Rave follows Play! Pickle’s Night Live launch on Friday, 27 February 2026, which included a live DJ, free-flowing drinks, short interval games, and a colourful wristband system that “indicate the participants’ intentions for going to the party,” according to Pickleball News Asia. Play! Pickle has signalled plans to run more themed nightlife pickleball sessions through 2026, with examples named as Singles Mingles and music nights.

The push for hybrid social-sport events lands against a backdrop of rapid pickleball expansion in Singapore. Metropolitant framed that growth bluntly: “This isn’t a trend - it’s a movement. And it makes sense why. Pickleball is that rare sport that’s genuinely easy to pick up, social by design, and oddly addictive once you’ve played a few rallies.” Play! Pickle’s Coffee Rave is scheduled for 22 March 2026 as part of that wider push to pair play with lifestyle programming.
