Pomerene Hospital Auxiliary Sporting Clay Shoot June 19 Raises Funds

Shooters, sponsors and community supporters will gather June 19 at Airport Ridge Sporting Clays in Millersburg for the Pomerene Hospital Auxiliary Sporting Clay Shoot, an annual fundraiser that helps pay for hospital operations, new equipment and facility improvements at Pomerene Hospital.

The shoot will be held at Airport Ridge Sporting Clays, 9537 County Road 292, Millersburg. Registration opens at 8:00 a.m., with a light breakfast for participants. Teams are released to begin shooting at 10:00 a.m. Note that no show birds are provided. Activities wrap up after a 1:00 p.m. lunch when awards and raffle drawings are held, followed by the Annie Oakley shoot at 2:00 p.m.; the Annie Oakley winner receives a gun.

Teams of four may register for $1,000. Team registration includes one squad of four shooters, a station sponsor sign bearing a company name and entry into a drawing that could win a gun for all participants. Sponsorships are available at multiple levels and are designed to give businesses and supporters visible recognition while directly supporting Pomerene’s mission. Sponsorship packages include Title Sponsor at $10,000, Gold Sponsor at $5,000, Bird Sponsor at $4,500, Silver Sponsor at $2,500, Bronze Sponsor at $1,500, Team Sponsor at $1,000 and Cart Sponsor at $600. Hospitality sponsorships for meals or side games are also available. Sponsors receive event signage and advertising, and higher-level sponsors are included in radio promotion and on event banners.
