Primero High FBLA Breaks Program Record with 17 State Qualifiers
Primero High School’s FBLA posted a program-record performance, with 17 students advancing from regionals to the state-level FBLA contest.

Primero High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) program posted a program-record performance at a regional competition, advancing 17 students to the state-level FBLA contest. Seventeen qualifiers is the largest single cohort the program has sent to state-level competition, and the accomplishment marks a new high-water mark for Primero High School FBLA.
The announcement lists the numeric outcome - 17 students advancing - but does not include the students’ names, the FBLA advisor or teacher sponsor, the date or location of the regional competition, or the date and site for the state-level contest. Competitive event categories and whether any students earned regional titles were also not released with the advancement notice.
Primero High School sits in a district that has been active on multiple fronts this month. At a Feb. 17 Primero School Board meeting, board members addressed that the district is holding nearly a year’s worth of financial reserves, recently dealt with a reported threat that prompted a one-day campus closure, and discussed potentially offering the superintendent a longer contract. Those district-level matters frame the school calendar and budgeting environment that will affect travel and support for the 17 students headed to state competition.
