Roberto Jimenez, 23, arrested in Burlington; charged with second-degree child exploitation
Burlington police executed a March 5 search at 2610 Eldermont Street and arrested Roberto Allen Jimenez, 23, charging him with one count of second-degree exploitation of a minor.

Burlington police executed a search warrant March 5 at 2610 Eldermont Street and arrested Roberto Allen Jimenez, 23, charging him with one count of second-degree exploitation of a minor, officials said. Jimenez was taken into custody without incident and is being held at the Alamance County Detention Facility without bond.
Police said the warrant at the Eldermont Street residence was based on information that the home was involved in possessing and disseminating child sexual abuse material. "Anyone with information about the investigation is asked to call Burlington police at (336) 229-3500. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Alamance County-Wide Crimestoppers at (336) 229-7100 or through the P3 Tips mobile app," the department said in its public request for tips.
The Eldermont Street action followed a separate Feb. 25 search-warrant execution at a duplex in the 2000 block of Sweetbay Circle that produced additional arrests. Officers arrested Herbert Lee Williams, 62, who faces 10 counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, and Robert Craig Blackwood Jr., 61, who faces one count of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor; both men are being held at the Alamance County Detention Facility without bond. Arrest warrants in the Sweetbay Circle case state authorities found "a number of videos depicting nude pre-pubescent boys and toddlers, many of them engaging in sex acts with each other or being molested by a man," according to the warrant language.
Investigators credited assistance from the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and the Invictus Task Force on the Sweetbay Circle probe, and police said the investigation remains ongoing. The Invictus Task Force was also involved in a Feb. 6 search-warrant operation that led to the arrest of Daniel Keith McClain; McClain was charged with two counts of felony second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, transported to the Alamance County Detention Center, and a magistrate issued no bond with a first appearance set for Feb. 9.
Alamance County law enforcement records show multiple, recent enforcement actions across the county this year, including unrelated arrests at 2412 Maple Avenue and narcotics-related arrests in early January; the county jail continues to hold the named arrestees without bond while cases proceed. Burlington police continue to ask anyone with information related to the child-exploitation investigations to call (336) 229-3500 or submit anonymous tips to Alamance County-Wide Crimestoppers at (336) 229-7100 or via the P3 Tips app as detectives work to review evidence and prepare court filings.
