Savannah Guthrie turned Mother’s Day into a public appeal for answers, posting a reel on Instagram that stitched together family photos and videos of her mother, Nancy Guthrie, and urging anyone with information to come forward. The TODAY co-anchor wrote, “Mother, daughter, sister, Nonie — we miss you with every breath,” and added that the family would “never stop looking” and would “never be at peace” until Nancy Guthrie is found.

The post came as the search for Nancy Guthrie approached 100 days. Nancy Guthrie, 84, was reported missing on Feb. 1 after last being seen on Jan. 31 in Tucson, Arizona. Authorities have said they believe she was taken from her home against her will, and investigators have described the case as a possible kidnapping or abduction.

The timeline has sharpened investigators’ focus on the hours after Nancy Guthrie returned home. ABC News reported that she took an Uber to her daughter’s home and was dropped off at 9:48 p.m. on Jan. 31. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said the garage door opened around 9:48 p.m. and closed at 9:50 p.m., then Nancy’s doorbell camera disconnected at 1:47 a.m. on Feb. 1. Motion software later detected a person at 2:12 a.m., and investigators believe Nancy Guthrie was abducted in her sleep early that morning.

Savannah Guthrie has described the first hours after the disappearance as a blur of “chaos and disbelief.” She said the family found the back doors of Nancy’s house propped open and initially feared a medical emergency. Savannah Guthrie and her siblings later posted a video message on Feb. 4 directly addressing the person or people they believe may have taken their mother, saying they were ready to talk and needed to know Nancy was alive.

The family has offered a reward of up to $1 million for information leading to Nancy Guthrie’s recovery. The FBI has separately offered up to $50,000 for information leading to her recovery and the arrest and conviction of anyone involved. Outside the home, a memorial has drawn attention, including an anonymous note urging the abductor to bring Nancy home for Mother’s Day.

Savannah Guthrie’s latest appeal did not add new facts to the case, but it kept the search in public view at a moment when visibility itself may be the family’s strongest tool.
