SIXAM CC’s Build the Crib mod adds in-game crib construction, requires Parenthood

SIXAM CC released Build the Crib in mid‑February as part two of the Baby On The Way series, and community outlets amplified the mod on Feb 23–24, 2026. The release shifts a familiar pre‑baby moment into interactive gameplay by putting crib construction into live play instead of leaving it as a Build Mode placemat.

The core mechanic turns crib placement into a multi‑step action. An Instagram post described the flow plainly: “With this amazing new mod, your sims can finally put together a crib for their baby. Simply purchase the Build the Crib boxes from build mode.” SimsCommunity and SnootySims both reported that players assemble the crib in stages, letting Sims work through the build process rather than instantly spawning a finished nursery piece.
