A months-long narcotics probe called Operation: Snow White culminated March 3–4, 2026 when law enforcement executed arrest warrants simultaneously across Dubois, Orange, Spencer, Warrick and Perry counties in Indiana and in Owensboro, Kentucky, taking 11 people into custody, Dubois County prosecutors said. Authorities described the operation as centered on illegal distribution in Dubois County but expanding across county lines and into Kentucky.

Dubois County Prosecutor Beth Schroeder and partner agencies coordinated the sweep with Jasper City Police Department, the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office, Huntingburg Police Department and the Indiana State Police, with assistance from the Paoli Police Department and Owensboro Police Department/DEA, according to law enforcement summaries. Prosecutors said the case grew from months of investigative work that used surveillance, controlled purchases, execution of search warrants and detailed evidence review.

Investigators named three suspects in initial releases: Andrew Benales, 22, whose Orange County warrant produced, authorities reported, 10.5 grams of pressed methamphetamine pills, 595 Xanax pills, cocaine and a handgun; and Bobbie Nadeau and Kaylin McKinney, at whose residences officers recovered additional drugs and paraphernalia, officials said. Media releases and photos used captions such as OPERATION SNOW WHITE DRUG SEIZED and OPERATION SNOW WHITE GROUP PHOTO as evidence inventories were documented. Several other suspects were already being held on unrelated charges when the new warrants were served.

Jasper Police Chief Chad Dick described the arrests as largely peaceful: "It was not a Disney fairytale. Obviously drugs plague many communities and ours is not immune to that... All in all, end of the day, when you can bring 11 people in, have no one really resist besides someone running on foot, no one get injured, that’s the last thing we want is anyone to get injured, whether its us, whether it’s the people we’re trying to arrest." Prosecutor Schroeder added that "Combatting the flow of illicit substances in Dubois County and holding accountable those individuals who exploit addiction for profit remains a top priority," and her office said many who post bond will be subject to enhanced pre-trial monitoring.

The sweep follows broader narcotics work by the prosecutor’s office, which filed felony drug dealing charges against 23 people in 2025 as part of ongoing enforcement. Officials said evidence seized during March 3–4 searches is under review and that further charges may be forthcoming as cases proceed through the Dubois County court system. Those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
