Starbucks unveils two spring merchandise collections inspired by matcha, cherry blossoms
Starbucks rolls out two spring merch collections in participating U.S. and Canada stores on March 3, including a 12-ounce botanical glass mug etched with floral designs priced at $17.95.

Starbucks is launching two seasonal merchandise lines timed with its spring menu: a Matcha Collection and a Cherry Blossom Collection, arriving in participating Starbucks locations in the U.S. and Canada starting March 3, 2026. The drop includes drinkware, mugs, tumblers, and accessories, and one explicit price has surfaced: a 12-ounce botanical glass mug etched with botanical designs for $17.95.
The Matcha Collection leans into green tones and matcha culture. Delish describes the palette as “different shades of green inspired by the drink itself - from lighter creamy foam tones to deeper matcha powder hues,” and Starbucks notes it has served matcha in its coffeehouses for more than 20 years. Named items in the Matcha Collection include a matcha splatter mug, matcha glass cold cup, glass rippled cup, rippled matcha mug, botanical glass mug, botanical stainless steel cold cup, and the Dream in Green stainless tumbler.
Kap Pitarys, director of U.S. merchandise for Starbucks, framed the matcha line as customer-driven, saying, “We were inspired by the customers in our coffeehouses,” and “We created an assortment that captures the spirit of spring and our customers’ love of matcha.” Pitarys also tied the collection to how customers customize matcha beverages with cold foams, syrups, and toppings, noting many people “often have their first matcha at Starbucks” and that the company wanted to capture the color and energy around the trend.
The Cherry Blossom Collection pulls visual cues from Starbucks coffeehouses in the Asia Pacific region and emphasizes soft pink floral imagery. Delish lists a cherry blossom cold cup, two cherry blossom tumblers, a pink gradient cold cup with a flower straw topper, a cherry blossom Bearista keychain, and a cherry blossom enamel pin set among the new pieces. The pink gradient cold cup and the tumblers are presented as collectible items intended to echo Japan and Asia Pacific cherry blossom aesthetics.

The merchandise launch is tied to Starbucks’ broader spring menu rollout on March 3. Menu items reported alongside the merch include the Frog Cake Pop “made with vanilla cake and buttercream icing, dipping in green chocolate icing,” returning drinks such as the Iced Lavender Cream Matcha, Iced Lavender Latte, and the Lavender Creme Frappuccino, plus a new chai recipe featuring notes of cardamom, cinnamon, and ginger sweetened with two grams of honey and customizable via classic syrup pumps. Starbucks will add Mango Cream Chai on April 7 using a new mango syrup, and Energy Refreshers will debut later in the spring. Starbucks Reserve menu highlights include an Iced Ube Coconut Latte, served at Reserve locations in Seattle, Chicago, and New York City.
Merch collectors should take note: Delish calls the drop “They’re going all in on spring color and collectible cup temptation,” and warns that “Starbucks merch people are built differently. The second a new collection hits, collectors lock in fast and the best stuff starts disappearing. (Hello, Bearista cold cup. I have not forgotten.)” With participating location availability and only one confirmed price point so far, shoppers who want specific pieces should check their local store on March 3 and expect fan demand to move inventory quickly.
