Supercell previews Feb. 24 Clash of Clans update with Greedy Raven, Prospector

The Greedy Raven, a flying Hero Pet that reportedly "attacks resource buildings with a 5x damage multiplier," is the headline of Supercell's February update preview and will be part of the patch that goes live on February 24, 2026. Supercell posted the developer sneak peek on February 21 via a trailer and social posts, and multiple preview clips tied the pet specifically to Town Hall 18.

Sportskeeda's write-up summarized the pet this way: "The Greedy Raven is a flying Pet that stays right behind its hero, attacking resource buildings with a 5x damage multiplier." Instagram's sneak-peek copy goes a step further and lists the Town Hall among those resource buildings, saying the Raven "deals x5 damage to Resource Buildings (including the Town Hall)." Reddit and YouTube preview notes also link the Greedy Raven to TH18, but the preview materials do not include Supercell's full patch notes, so whether the Town Hall is officially classified as a resource building for the Raven's multiplier remains to be confirmed.

Alongside the new pet, the February 24 update introduces Gold Pass 2.0 with an overhauled interface and progression changes. Sportskeeda described the changes: "The Gold Pass track has a fresh and impressive UI. The developer has added a new task in the Gold Pass 2.0 coming with the Clash of Clans February Update 2026. This task will present daily quests that you can complete to progress faster through the reward track." The preview also notes players will be able to "pick between two" rewards at certain tiers and that Free Chests will be included as part of the pass rewards.

The trailer also flags a new in-game character called the Prospector: "The developers are planning a new character called the Prospector, who will help you earn more Ores." Details on how the Prospector functions, where it appears in the game, and whether it ties into Gold Pass remain unspecified in the sneak-peek material.

Additional items named in the preview include a reworked Earthquake Spell Tower option, Town Hall 18 balance adjustments, Ranked Mode fixes, various troops and spells gaining a new level, and "plenty of bug fixes and other QoL improvements." Those items were mentioned in the trailer and Sportskeeda's summary, but the preview did not list exact balance numbers, specific troop or spell level increases, or the full bug-fix changelog.

Before retooling TH18 bases or spending on the new Gold Pass, wait for Supercell's official blog post and patch notes expected with or before the February 24 release.
