The Howard Brothers perform folk-jazz at Churchill School March 17
Twins Jonah and Jason Howard bring guitar and upright bass to Churchill School for a St. Patrick’s Day folk-jazz set; doors 6 p.m., show 6:45 p.m., advance tickets $20.

Twins Jonah and Jason Howard take the stage at Churchill School, 3451 Broadway St. in Baker City, for a St. Patrick’s Day concert Tuesday, March 17, with doors at 6:00 p.m. and the show beginning at 6:45 p.m. Advance tickets are $20 through the venue’s website and Eventbrite, with a $28 price at the door; children 15 and under are admitted free when accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.
Jonah Howard will play guitar and Jason Howard will play upright bass in a set billed as folk-rooted with jazz influences, with Baker City’s Add Collard opening the evening. The duo’s most recent album, Out on My Own, was released in 2023; Jonah lives in Arizona and Jason lives in Seattle, and Jonah still performs with Tray Wellington while Jason is joining several shows on the spring run. Jonah said of touring, "It allows us to treat our tours as adventures," and recalled his prior Baker City appearance last September with Tray Wellington’s band: "I had such a good time there. I love what they're doing with that space." He also described the brothers’ first instrument memory: "My brother asked for a guitar for Christmas. It was kind of a shared present."
Ticketing rules on the Eventbrite listing match the advertised prices and list a $5 discount for seniors, veterans and students; Eventbrite defines those discounts as applying to seniors 60 and older, students ages 16 to 21, and veterans who are retired or active service members. Advanced ticket sales end one hour before the show and refunds are allowed up to seven days before the event. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.; patrons should plan for the 6:45 p.m. start time.

The venue appears in promotions under both Churchill School and The Churchill Baker; Eventbrite names BELLA Main St. Market and Gregg Hinrichsen State Farm Insurance as sponsors and lists MC Taco Bus as the food vendor scheduled for the event. Promotional listings on Eventbrite and the venue’s Instagram also reference the group’s earlier billing as The Cross-Eyed Possum and the handle @crosseyedpossumband, while the current show marketing uses The Howard Brothers.
The March 17 performance at 3451 Broadway St. will be one of the brothers’ spring dates that supports their folk-jazz repertoire and recent album; tickets are available through the venue’s online sales channels and on Eventbrite until one hour before doors.
