Two Harbors girls basketball seniors honor eight teachers at combined Senior Night
Two Harbors seniors used Senior Night to publicly thank eight teachers, with students like Chloe Nesgoda and Emily Ojard naming mentors who shaped academics, athletics and 13 years of schooling.

The Two Harbors girls basketball program marked both Senior Night and Teacher Appreciation Night on Feb. 5, giving eight seniors a chance to honor the educators who have shaped their lives. The in-gym recognitions blended gratitude, humor, and the kind of specific praise that showed how meaningful these relationships have been to graduating players.
Chloe Nesgoda selected Mrs. Harju, noting her patience, kindness, and the energy she brings to every class. Nesgoda said her teacher "has such a big heart and is always looking out for everyone," a quality that has stayed with her throughout high school.
Delaney Nelson honored Mr. Reppe, a teacher she said never fails to brighten her day. Nelson credited him with bringing fun into the school and being quick to offer a snack when needed. "We love him!" Nelson said during her recognition.
Emily Ojard looked back on 13 years with her gym teacher at Lakeview Christian Academy, Mrs. Jones. Ojard said Jones "always encouraged me to try new things and pushed me to be my best self in everything I did, whether it was school or sports," tying a long-term coaching and mentorship relationship directly to her development as a student-athlete.

Belle Bollé recognized Mr. Altiere for his ability to make learning enjoyable, saying it is clear he cares deeply about his work and is passionate about teaching. According to Bollé, "he goes above and beyond to ensure students understand the material and remains easy to talk to," underscoring the classroom accessibility that players singled out as critical to their success.
Eight seniors were honored in total, though only four students and their teachers were named in the remarks available from the ceremony: Chloe Nesgoda, Delaney Nelson, Emily Ojard and Belle Bollé. The combined Senior Night and Teacher Appreciation format gave each senior a public moment to single out the adults who influenced academics, athletics and daily life over multiple grades.
Photographs from the celebration were credited to Lisa Malcomb. The event on Feb. 5 offered a clear snapshot of Two Harbors' community ties: long-term teacher-student relationships, classroom mentors who doubled as supporters of athletic effort, and seniors using their final home-court spotlight to return thanks.
