U.S. Mint to Release 2026 Congratulations Set Feb. 26, Limited to 60,000
The U.S. Mint will sell 60,000 2026 “Congratulations” sets beginning Feb. 26 at noon EST, priced at $175 with a one-per-household limit for the first 24 hours.

“The 2026 United States Mint (Mint) Congratulations Set (product code 26RF) will be available for purchase beginning on February 26, 2026, at noon EST.” That is the Mint’s announcement datelined WASHINGTON, D.C., Feb. 19, 2026, and the agency followed with price and limit details: “The set is priced at $175. Production is limited to 60,000 sets, and orders are limited to one set per household for the first 24 hours.”
The Congratulations Set is offered as a presentation case containing a 2026-dated American Eagle Proof Silver Dollar bearing the “P” mint mark of the Philadelphia Mint, and the Mint describes the item as “a unique gift item to celebrate any special occasion or milestone.” The product code 26RF identifies the set on the Mint’s release and will be useful for collectors and gift buyers tracking availability.
Design details are supplied in the Mint text for buyers who prize craftsmanship and provenance: “The coin’s obverse (heads) displays renowned sculptor Adolph A. Weinman’s classic design featuring the full-length figure of Liberty in full stride, enveloped in folds of the flag, with her right hand extended and branches of laurel and oak in her left. Inscriptions are ‘LIBERTY,’ ‘IN GOD WE TRUST,’ and ‘2026.’” On the reverse the Mint states the coin shows “a rendition of a majestic bald eagle as it approaches a landing, carrying an oak branch, as if to add it to a nest. Inscriptions include ‘UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,’ ‘E PLURIBUS UNUM,’ ‘1 OZ. FINE SILVER,’ and ‘ONE DOLLAR.’”
The Mint’s customer tools for this release include the ability to “set up a ‘Remind Me’ alert for this product, enroll in the Product Subscription Program, or view other Mint gift ideas,” giving buyers multiple ways to secure a set when the noon EST window opens on Feb. 26. The one-per-household restriction for the first 24 hours will apply to initial orders; the Mint did not provide additional public details in the release about enforcement mechanisms or whether further limits will follow.
Secondary-market dealers are already reflecting demand and certification interest. LCR Coin lists graded examples with titles such as “2026-P Proof Silver Eagle Congratulations Set AD CAC PR70 Founders Label” and markets the piece as “one of the most desirable modern Proof Silver Eagle issues,” repeating the 60,000 mintage figure and advertising graded PR70 specimens. That dealer listing also contains an anomalous line—“Expected release date is Mar 05, 2025”—which conflicts with the Mint’s Feb. 26, 2026, sale date and appears to be an out-of-context entry on the vendor page. LCR Coin’s contact number in its listing is 800.830.5578, with hours MON - FRI 9 AM - 4 PM CST for buyers seeking aftermarket options.
With a capped production of 60,000 sets and a $175 Mint price, the 26RF Congratulations Set will be a narrowly produced, Mint-offered gift option for graduations and milestones; collectors who plan to buy through the Mint should use the Mint’s “Remind Me” alert or the Product Subscription Program ahead of the noon EST release on Feb. 26.
