Vincennes University announced a slate of 2026 summer camps and academies on Feb. 23, 2026, and opened registration for programs running June 3–24 at its Vincennes and Jasper campuses. The campus announcement and VU program pages list four headline sessions: Surveying Camp (June 3–5), VU Jasper STEM Academy (June 9–11), Techmester (June 15–17) and the Summer STEM Academy on the Vincennes campus (June 21–24).

The VU Jasper STEM Academy is scheduled June 9–11 on the Jasper campus and targets students entering grades 7–10 from around southern Indiana. VU’s program description says participants will perform hands-on activities, interact with local STEM employers, and learn more about preparing for college, and the Jasper page includes a “Register now!” prompt and a “More Information About VU's Jasper STEM Academy” link.

Surveying Camp runs June 3–5 on the Vincennes campus and is described on VU pages as a chance to preview college by learning and living on campus. WTHI reports campers will operate surveying equipment, complete measuring and drafting projects, meet industry professionals and “hang out with current VU surveying students,” and WTHI also reports the surveying camp “counts for one college credit.” The VU site paired the surveying content with an image captioned “A female student using a mechanical arm to pick up wooden blocks.”

Techmester is set for June 15–17 at the Vincennes campus and is described by VU as bringing Early College and dual credit students from around the State of Indiana for a residential summer experience. WTHI frames Techmester for high school juniors and seniors and lists student track choices including accounting, robotics, conservation law enforcement, culinary arts, health sciences and precision machining; WTHI reports the program “counts as 25 hours of work-based learning.” VU’s Techmester program page includes a “Register now!” call-to-action and a “More Information About VU's Techmester Program” header.

The Summer STEM Academy at the Vincennes campus runs June 21–24 and brings incoming high school juniors and seniors from around the state to a residential STEM program. VU’s description says participants have the opportunity to earn one college credit while learning from instructors, campus leaders and industry mentors; WTHI notes students can earn a college credit and stay in the dorms. STEM-related imagery on VU pages is captioned “Three students staring at glowing balls” and “A female student separating paint.”

VU’s program pages repeatedly urge readers to “Register now!” and an Instagram post from VU says, “Summer Camp registration is now open and filling up fast! We are excited to host a new group of campers for summer camp 2026. Registration.” Laura Carie, director of university events and special projects, told WTHI, “We are excited to welcome youth to the Vincennes and Jasper campuses this summer to experience what VU offers.” WTHI also reports that “Vincennes University will require masks for all students and staff,” a policy prospective campers and families should confirm with VU when registering.
