WEBZEN adds Legacy II and Muun 10-star to MU: Pocket Knights
Late-game players can now push Muuns from 5-star to 10-star and access the new Legacy II tier; update dropped February 26, 2026, update your mobile client or grab the PC client and log in with your existing account.

WEBZEN pushed MU: Pocket Knights’ progression ceiling higher with a February 26, 2026 update that added Legacy II and raised Muun advancement from 5-star to 10-star. Players wanting the new systems should update the game on Android or iOS or download the PC client from the official website and sign in with their existing mobile account; full patch details are posted on the game’s official page and Facebook page.
“This update adds Legacy II, a new upper tier of the existing Legacy content,” WEBZEN wrote in its release, and coverage from Cogconnected adds that Legacy II introduces new Legacy items that expand the range of stats players can boost. The combination is positioned to give late-game captains more customization and alternative upgrade paths, with PocketGamer noting the tier targets players who have already pushed into endgame territory.
The Muun companion system gets its biggest change yet as the maximum advancement level increased from 5-star to 10-star. Company Webzen framed the change as opening new long-term growth: “the maximum advancement level for Muuns has been increased from 5-star to 10-star.” As Muuns climb those higher star tiers they gain additional stat bonuses, creating fresh optimization choices for teams built around specific companion synergies.
WEBZEN paired the progression upgrades with several player-facing events. The Friend Invitation Event lets veteran players invite newcomers and complete missions together for shared rewards, with invited players receiving bonuses for completing missions. A seasonal Sweet Chocolate event relies on Exploration to collect event items that can be exchanged for Chocolate Boxes; Cogconnected describes those boxes as containing “Diamonds, Sweep Tickets, and Jewels.” PocketGamer reported a week-long Hot Time event to mark the Legacy II rollout, handing out daily login rewards such as Diamonds, Sweep Tickets, and evolution materials.

Quality-of-life changes shipped alongside the systems work, including a new Tarot Card lock feature, an expanded Ranking display range, and UX enhancements to several pop-up windows, according to WEBZEN and Cogconnected. No numerical breakdowns for Legacy II stats or Muun upgrade costs were provided in the release notes, so players should consult the official patch text for precise mechanics.
Those following MU: Pocket Knights’ recent update history should note a separate major patch reported November 13, 2025. Gamespress documented that update as adding 6th and 7th Class Advancements themed Shadow and Crown, three new skills per class, the Tower of Jewel challenge, Battle Chapters expanded to Chapter 150, upgraded dungeons, three Higher Rank Gear Sets, five new Ancient grade Muuns, and the launch of an official PC version with cross-platform play.
With Legacy II and a 10-star Muun cap now live, MU: Pocket Knights has raised its progression ceiling and opened new late-game targets; check the official website and Facebook page for the full patch notes and platform downloads to start testing the new systems.
