Will Walker, NP Returns to Daviess Community Hospital CORE Center May 4
Will Walker, NP, will return to CORE Orthopaedics at Daviess Community Hospital’s CORE Center on Monday, May 4, 2026; appointments are now available at 421 East Van Trees Street, call (812) 254-2663.

Daviess Community Hospital announced that Will Walker, NP, will return to CORE Orthopaedics at the CORE Center in Washington effective Monday, May 4, 2026, and that appointments are now available. The hospital’s LinkedIn post stated, “Daviess Community Hospital is pleased to announce that Will Walker, NP, returns to CORE Orthopaedics this May. Appointments are now available.”
Walker will practice at the CORE Center, located at 421 East Van Trees Street, where WJTS reports orthopaedics and related services are concentrated on the second floor. WJTS noted that the CORE Center “brings rehabilitation therapies, orthopaedics, pain management, podiatry, and advanced imaging together under one roof,” and that orthopaedics and sports medicine, along with pain management and podiatry, offer evaluation, non-surgical care and surgical coordination close to home.
Daviess Community Hospital’s LinkedIn post lists Walker’s clinical scope in detail: he “evaluates and treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including knee, hip and shoulder pain, back and neck concerns, sports injuries, fractures, arthritis, tendon and ligament injuries, and post-surgical orthopaedic care.” Those services will be available as part of DCH’s reshaped musculoskeletal service line, which WJTS describes as encompassing “orthopaedics, interventional pain management, and surgical podiatry.”
Walker originally joined the CORE Center’s orthopaedic team in November 2022 and later served patients in cardiology at the DCH Specialty Clinic, a timeline WJTS highlighted while noting Walker is “a longtime member of the DCH family.” The February 23–24, 2026 announcements from DCH and regional outlets make clear the May 4 start date will bring Walker back to orthopaedic care after his cardiology assignment.
The CORE Center expansion also includes a partnership with Tri-State Orthopaedics to provide on-site pain management and surgical podiatry, a move WJTS framed as consolidating services to enhance convenience and coordination for patients seeking musculoskeletal relief. DCH’s news feed reiterates the hospital is expanding specialty services through the new partnership with Tri-State Orthopaedics.
Daviess Community Hospital framed Walker’s return as strengthening its local orthopaedic capacity: “His return strengthens DCH’s commitment to accessible, high-quality orthopaedic services delivered with a strong focus on patient experience and coordinated care,” the LinkedIn post reads, adding that “As a trusted community health system, we remain focused on helping patients regain mobility and improve quality of life close to home.” Appointments with Will Walker, NP, in Orthopaedics at the CORE Center can be scheduled by calling (812) 254-2663.
