Willamette Valley Diecast Hosts Winter Hot Wheels & Diecast Show in Springfield
Collectors from across the Pacific Northwest gather at the Springfield Elks Lodge for an all-ages Hot Wheels and diecast swap-meet; public admission is free with a $5 early-bird hour.

Collectors and families are converging at the Springfield Elks Lodge today for the WVD Winter Hot Wheels & Diecast Show, a swap-meet style event that brings buyers, sellers and customizers together under one roof. The Willamette Valley Diecast group, hosted by Jenny Autrey and the Willamette Valley Diecast Crew (aka Jenny), organized the show to serve local collectors and attract enthusiasts from across the Pacific Northwest.
The event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 1701 Centennial Blvd, Springfield, with a $5 early-bird admission from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and free public admission during the main hours. Willamette Valley Diecast is excited to invite you to our Winter Show!, the organizers write in event materials, and the meet is described as open to anyone looking to buy, sell, and trade Hot Wheels, M2’s, Matchbox, and other diecast cars.
Alongside vendor tables and private sellers, the show stages a customs contest with awards given to 1st, 2nd & 3rd, offering a chance for local modders to showcase custom paint, decals and fabricated parts. If you’re not setting up, plan to stop by and say hi!, the organizers add, signaling the social, community-oriented tone of the gathering. Promotion on social channels also calls the event an annual winter show, reinforcing its place on collectors’ calendars.
Local impact stretches beyond hobby culture. The Springfield Elks Lodge is a community hub, and events like this funnel foot traffic to nearby eateries, shops and service businesses, delivering small-scale economic benefits on an otherwise quiet winter weekend. Free general admission and a modest fee for early access help keep the event accessible to families and collectors with limited budgets, supporting participation across age and income groups.

Public health and logistics details are limited in the event copy. Because the fair is indoors, check the Facebook event page or message host Jenny Autrey for current registration and health-policy details, including mask or ventilation guidance. Organizers note a registration link for vendors and attendees but do not display it in all listings; the event pages include prompts to request ticket updates or vendor information. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions, and please share with other collectors in the area, the Willamette Valley Diecast Crew writes.
For Lane County residents, the show is a low-cost, family-friendly opportunity to connect with a regional collector community and support local businesses. Happy hunting, we can’t wait to see you there!, The Willamette Valley Diecast Crew (aka Jenny).
