Hemmerling Hat Trick Headlines AHL Pacific Division Stars of the Week
Ben Hemmerling scored three goals as Henderson topped Abbotsford 7-5, earning him AHL Pacific Division first star honors for the week.

Ben Hemmerling put together one of the more memorable individual performances in recent Henderson Silver Knights history, potting a hat trick in a wild 7-5 victory over the Abbotsford Canucks to claim AHL Pacific Division first star honors for the week of March 16.
The three-goal effort anchored a high-scoring affair that saw Henderson pull away from Abbotsford despite the Canucks keeping it close through a combined 12 goals. Hemmerling's production was the decisive difference in a game that could have gone either way, and the recognition reflects just how thoroughly he took over the contest.
Tucson Roadrunners defenseman Maveric Lamoureux earned second star recognition for his contribution in a tighter, 5-4 Roadrunners win over the San Jose Barracuda. That game came down to a single goal, and Lamoureux's performance was central enough to the outcome to warrant a spot on the week's podium.

The third star went to Chicago Wolves goaltender Cayden Primeau, who stopped 28 shots for a shutout. A clean sheet in the AHL is never routine, and Primeau's performance stood as one of the cleanest individual efforts of the week across the division.
Taken together, the three honorees represent the full range of what drives results in the Pacific: a forward catching fire, a defenseman imposing his will in a one-goal game, and a goaltender who simply refused to let the puck in. Hemmerling's hat trick was the flashiest of the three, but all three players delivered when their teams needed it most.
