Payson club opens new pickleball courts for local amateurs

Payson Seymour Athletic Club opened two new pickleball courts in Payson, Illinois, giving local amateur players a dedicated place to play. The grand opening put the club’s newest additions on display and turned a project that had been building for months into a usable community facility.

The courts did not appear overnight. In 2025, fundraisers at the athletic club helped create the opportunity to build the two-court project in Payson, setting up the opening that arrived this summer.
