IFA Armwrestling World Cup returns to Senec for 33rd edition

Senec will host the 33rd SENEC HAND IFA Armwrestling World Cup from July 10 through July 13 at MsKS Senec on 1st May Square. The event runs under the official IFA banner, stretches across seniors, women, juniors, masters and disabled divisions, and folds individual brackets into a team competition.

Men’s seniors are spread from 63 kg to 105+ kg, women compete from 57 kg to 63+ kg, and separate junior, masters and disabled categories give the field a wider range than a standard open meet. The entry fee is 10 euros per class per arm for juniors and disabled athletes, while seniors and masters pay 25 euros. Juniors and disabled pullers can also enter senior or master classes, and age-group obligations apply when they do.

The schedule is packed from the moment teams arrive on Friday, July 10, with registration set for 18:00 to 21:00. Saturday starts with registration and weigh-in from 9:00 to 10:30, then turns to left-hand preliminaries before team right-hand preliminaries and finals. The night closes with a party at 21:00 at Country Saloon. Sunday follows the same right-arm rhythm, with another party at 20:00 at County Club.

Monday is reserved for departures and a right-arm-only team tournament, which uses double elimination if at least four teams register. The top three in every class will receive medals, teams will be awarded trophies, and pre-registered pullers will get a free official Senec Hand T-shirt. Athletes may wear national or event-branded shirts, but shirts promoting other leagues are not allowed.
