Sammy McCorkle, the Robert L. Blackman Head Football Coach at Dartmouth, unveiled the Big Green's 2026 football schedule Friday, a 10-game slate built around seven Ivy League contests and three non-conference matchups, with five of those games coming at Buddy Teevens Stadium at Memorial Field in Hanover.

The season kicks off September 19 with a road trip to Lehigh in Bethlehem, Pa., the program's first visit there since 1996. Dartmouth returns home a week later on September 26 for its home opener against Monmouth. Ivy League play begins October 3 when Penn comes to Hanover for Homecoming, followed by a road trip to Yale on October 10.

Before diving fully into the conference gauntlet, Dartmouth hosts Merrimack on October 17 in what will be only the second meeting between the programs. The first came in 2024, a 16-14 Dartmouth win in North Andover, Mass. After Merrimack, the Big Green travel to New York City on October 24 to face Columbia, where Dartmouth holds a commanding 74-20-1 all-time advantage dating to 1899. The Big Green have won four straight in that series, including a 49-3 victory in their most recent matchup at Buddy Teevens Stadium.

Harvard arrives in Hanover on October 31 before Dartmouth embarks on back-to-back road games at Princeton on November 7 and Cornell on November 14. The regular season closes November 21 at home against Brown.

"We're looking forward to our 2026 season and are eager to get back on the field," McCorkle said. "Our strong non-conference schedule provides us with some good opportunities and the parity that exists in the Ivy League always makes it competitive week in and week out!"

The schedule release comes after Dartmouth finished the 2025 season 7-3 overall and 4-3 in Ivy play, a step back from McCorkle's first two seasons in which he guided the program to consecutive Ivy League championships. Now entering his third year at the helm, McCorkle is chasing the program's 23rd Ivy League title, the most in conference history.

With the FCS Playoffs set to begin November 28, this marks only the second season Ivy League programs are eligible for postseason play. A national champion will be crowned January 4, 2027. Kickoff times and television assignments will be posted to DartmouthSports.com as they are confirmed, with season ticket and single-game ticket details expected in the coming weeks.
