Scholomance 2026 crowns winners in longsword, sidesword and greatsword

Scholomance 2026 turned The Mount Community Centre in Peterborough, Ontario, into a three-weapon test, with greatsword drawing 15 participants from six HEMA clubs and producing a crowded podium. The Saturday, July 30 card also delivered clear winners in longsword and sidesword, giving the results post the feel of a full weekend snapshot rather than a single-bracket roll call.

In longsword, Alex Dugmore finished first, Craig Riddiough took second and Mike Smallridge placed third. Sidesword went to Will Smart, with Isaac Williamson in second, a result that matters because it shows the field was not decided by one weapon alone. Fighters had to switch gears across formats, and the same event rewarded different technical strengths in the same venue.

Greatsword was the deepest draw in the results set. Solve won the division, followed by Zalos in second, Sevrish in third and Aluc in fourth, with Jax Arrow, Kiba and Ashurbanipal tied from fifth through eighth.
