Life Is Good entered the freshman sire conversation with a commanding performance at the OBS March under-tack sale, leading all qualifying stallions in both average one-furlong breeze time and median sale price to claim the top spot in the Juvenile Sale Power Rankings.

The rankings use a dual-metric system that combines each sire's average eighth-of-a-mile breeze time with the median price his juveniles commanded at the sale, with each category carrying equal weight. That balance is deliberately unforgiving: a stallion who blazes through the breeze show but fails to move buyers in the ring cannot climb to the top of the index, and the reverse holds equally true. Life Is Good cleared both bars, making him the only freshman sire in the first check to excel simultaneously on the track and at the auction podium.
