South Shore Roller Derby is taking applications now for officials at Summer Crush 2026: Legends of the Final Jam, a weekend-long learnament that will run July 25-26 at Crown Point Sports Complex in Crown Point, Indiana. The event includes an optional Welcome Mixer on July 24, a small detail that underscores how early the league is locking in the people who will keep the weekend moving.

The officiating call specifically seeks THR, THNSO and GTO applicants, not just on-track referees. That matters because a learnament under the WFTDA ruleset is built for both competition and instruction, with roughly 100 skaters from across the Midwest and beyond expected to take part.
