Tiger Bay Brawlers did more than beat Barcelona Roller Derby. They turned Sunday’s Game 14 at the Centre Namurois des Sports Tabora into a 207-103 hammering, a 104-point margin that stood out even in a Namur weekend where other bouts were decided by a point or two.

The Cardiff, Wales side entered the 2026 WFTDA European Regional Championships as the 9th-ranked team in Europe with a 198.25 GPA and a 6-6 regional record. Barcelona came in 10th in Europe at 196.68 with a 12-3 regional mark, so the seed line suggested a tight matchup. The scoreboard never followed that script. Tiger Bay kept stacking scoring trips, controlled the pace, and repeatedly broke Barcelona’s rhythm before the Spanish side could turn the game into a slow grind.
