USA Roller Sports has locked in a dense summer championship window for Lincoln, Nebraska, with speed nationals scheduled for July 7 through July 15 and artistic nationals following from July 17 through Aug. 2. That placement puts the sport’s biggest domestic event squarely in the middle of the summer travel season, when training blocks, family budgets and venue logistics collide.

The calendar split matters on the ice and in the purse. A two-phase nationals gives speed skaters a dedicated early-July run before artistic athletes take over the same championship stage less than 48 hours later, a format that can sharpen preparation but also compresses travel and recovery for clubs with athletes in both disciplines. USA Roller Sports’ championship page lists The Graduate Hotel at 141 N 9th St. in Lincoln as the host hotel, a detail that signals how heavily the meet will lean on downtown lodging and tournament traffic.

Spectator costs are laid out in tiers that fit the length of the competition block. The schedule also clarifies why Lincoln keeps drawing the national indoor championships back to the city.
