Paris Worlds is adding a two-day Defense Camp on August 29-30, 2026, giving players a skills workshop built around one of roundnet’s most pressure-heavy phases. The camp is being framed as “an extension of the World Championships experience,” a signal that the Paris Worlds buildout will go beyond the main draw and into position-specific preparation.

The official Paris Worlds account lists the championships at Parc du Tremblay, near Paris, France, from September 2-6, 2026. That puts the Defense Camp in the final stretch before Worlds, when teams are usually locking in touches, serve patterns and sideout decisions. In that setting, a defense-focused session is more than a side event: it becomes a chance to work on reads, controlled digs and the transition touches that turn a difficult point into an attack.
