Buffalo Bisons Bring Back Popular Take a Swing Prediction Contest for 2026
The Buffalo Bisons' Take a Swing contest returns for 11 weekend homestands, with Grand Finals prizes including a game suite with $500 food credit and a Seneca resort stay.

The Buffalo Bisons have brought back their Take a Swing Game Prediction Contest for the 2026 season, partnering again with Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino to offer fans 11 weekends of competition at Sahlen Field with prizes running through the end of August.
The contest, announced March 9, opens immediately with entries available for the Bisons' Opening Weekend series against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. Each weekend, participants answer 10 questions predicting the outcomes of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday games at Sahlen Field, with the team noting that fans should "watch out for doubleheaders" when filling out their picks.
Entry rules keep the format straightforward. Fans can submit one entry per weekend homestand, but the deadline is firm: all picks must be in by 12:00 pm ET on the Friday of each series. Entries submitted at 12:01 pm ET are automatically rolled over and registered for the following weekend's homestand instead.
After each weekend concludes, the top-scoring entry receives a Bisons-Seneca Gaming Prize and earns a spot in the Take a Swing Grand Finals. That end-of-season finale carries the biggest stakes: a Bisons Game Suite with a $500 food credit, plus a Seneca Resort & Casino Corner King Room overnight stay with a $150 resort credit.

"There's no reason not to 'Take a Swing' with the Bisons and Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino in 2026," the team wrote in its announcement. "You might just hit a home run."
The contest spans the full run of weekend homestands through August, giving Bisons fans 11 separate chances to post a winning score and qualify for the Grand Finals. Contest details including entry method, eligibility rules, exact homestand dates, and the Grand Finals schedule had not been published as of the announcement.
