Columbus Clippers, RESN Partner to Broadcast 72 Home Games in 2026
Ryan Mitchell, entering his 17th season with the Clippers, will call 72 home games on RESN in 2026, with 69 airing live from Huntington Park.

The Columbus Clippers locked in a regional television deal with Rock Entertainment Sports Network (RESN) that will put 72 home games in front of Ohio viewers during the 2026 season, the club announced March 17. Of those 72 broadcasts originating from Huntington Park, 69 will air live. The season opens at home on March 31.
"The Columbus Clippers are incredibly excited to partner with Rock Entertainment Sports Network as a regional broadcast partner for the 2026 season," said Clippers President and General Manager Tyler Parsons. "This continues our mission of making Clippers games accessible to as many fans as possible and will be a tremendous introduction for prospective fans to see all the great Clippers traditions. And as the Triple-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians, this will allow even more fans to see the incredible talent that is at the doorstep of the big league club."
Mike Conley, Executive Vice-President, CIO, and President of RESN, framed the deal in explicitly statewide terms: "By distributing Clippers home games, we are furthering our commitment to providing fans across Ohio with unparalleled, free access to the professional teams they love. Huntington Park is a cornerstone of the Columbus sports community, and we look forward to bringing the excitement of Clippers baseball - from the first pitch of the March 31st home opener to every 'Dime-A-Dog' night directly into the homes of our viewers statewide."
Columbus-area viewers can find RESN on channel 17.1 over the air or on Spectrum channel 985. Beyond Columbus, RESN will carry Clippers games in the Cleveland, Cincinnati, Dayton, and Lima markets, extending the broadcast footprint across a significant stretch of Ohio.

Calling games on the RESN telecasts is Ryan Mitchell, who previously handled the Clippers' radio duties and is now entering his 17th season with the organization's broadcast team. Mitchell will be joined by Bob McElligott, who currently serves as the radio play-by-play voice of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
The Clippers serve as the top minor league affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians in the International League, giving the RESN deal added weight for fans tracking the pipeline of talent moving toward the major league club. With nine days until the March 31 home opener, the broadcast infrastructure is in place well ahead of first pitch.
