Columbus Clippers Unveil 2026 Promotional Calendar Featuring Opening Week Giveaways
Columbus Clippers unveiled their 2026 promo calendar, highlighted by a daily magnet schedule giveaway all opening week and seven fireworks shows led by a Star Wars extravaganza May 23.

The Columbus Clippers released their initial 2026 promotions calendar on March 10, anchoring the announcement around a daily Clippers 2026 Magnet Schedule Giveaway throughout opening week and seven planned fireworks shows at Huntington Park.
The Cleveland Guardians' Triple-A affiliate opens its home schedule Tuesday, March 31, launching a slate of 75 home games that runs through Sunday, Sept. 20. Homestands follow a Tuesday-through-Sunday pattern at the Arena District ballpark, which the team says has ranked among the top five nationally in attendance every year since opening in 2009.
The fireworks calendar leads with a Star Wars-themed extravaganza on May 23, followed by a patriotic show on Independence Day. Select Fridays and Saturdays will also feature post-game fireworks as part of the remaining shows, with specific dates for all seven yet to be announced.
Beyond the opening-week giveaway, the promotional structure is built around a day-of-week framework. Tuesdays bring Dime-A-Dog Night, with hot dogs priced at 10 cents all game. Wednesday home games offer half-priced tickets to active and former military members and first responders. Thursdays rotate across three formats: day games carry the Business Day Special with $1 hot dogs, small popcorn and sodas; select evening games run Thirsty Thursdays with deals on beers, margaritas and soft drinks; and other Thursday nights feature MiLB's Copa de la Diversión program, with the Clippers taking the field as the Veleros in special uniforms to honor Latino culture.
Fridays add $5 Fridays, combining $5 16-ounce beers and cups of wine with a $5 Donatos combo in left field that includes a slice of pizza and a small soda. On select Saturdays, Party-at-the-Park pre-game concerts bring live music to right field at gates open. Sundays are designated Family Day, featuring discounted Family Pass tickets and post-game base running open to fans of all ages.
The team noted that more giveaway days, celebrity appearances and theme nights are expected to be announced, and that the full promotions schedule will be released soon. Tickets for all 75 home games are currently on sale.
