Memphis Redbirds Reveal Opening Week Promotions Ahead of March 31 Home Opener
Memphis opens at AutoZone Park on March 31 vs. Norfolk, with $10 tickets, Bluey & Bingo Day, and a postgame Easter egg hunt on tap for Opening Week.

The Memphis Redbirds have mapped out a Charbroil-presented Opening Week that runs from a Tuesday night opener through an Easter Sunday egg hunt, giving AutoZone Park fans a six-day stretch with something beyond baseball to pull them through the gates.
The Redbirds kick off their 2026 home schedule Tuesday, March 31 at 7:05 p.m. against the Norfolk Tides, Baltimore's Triple-A affiliate. The series continues Wednesday, April 1 at 12:05 p.m. and Thursday, April 2 at 6:45 p.m., with the homestand wrapping on Easter Sunday, April 5 at 1:05 p.m.
That Sunday matinee anchors the promotional calendar. The Easter Sunday Celebration includes a postgame egg hunt open to kids 12 years of age and under, one of three named event highlights the Redbirds built around the week. Bluey & Bingo Day and the return of "To Infinity & The Ballpark" round out the marquee attractions, though the club has not yet mapped those two events to specific dates in the confirmed schedule release.
Craig Unger, the team's president and general manager, framed the week as a deliberate attempt to widen the appeal of opening-night energy across the full homestand. "Our goal is to bring the fun of opening week to fans of all ages," Unger said. "There is truly something for everyone, from giveaways to character appearances to theme nights and more."
Tickets start at $10 for any game this season, a price point the club is leaning on as it courts families who might otherwise treat a ballpark visit as an occasional splurge rather than a recurring option.
