Storm Chasers Unveil 2026 Promotional Schedule for 75 Werner Park Games
The Omaha Storm Chasers unveiled a 75-game home slate at Werner Park with 29 theme nights, eight giveaways, and single-game tickets on sale Feb. 4, a promotions-heavy push to drive attendance.

The Omaha Storm Chasers unveiled an ambitious promotional blueprint for 2026, announcing a 75-game home slate at Werner Park loaded with giveaways, themed nights and specialty jerseys aimed at filling seats and broadening the fan base. Single-game tickets go on sale Feb. 4, and Opening Night is set for Tuesday, March 31 at 6:35 p.m. against the Buffalo Bisons, with fans receiving a 2026 Magnet Schedule presented by Great Plains Communication.
The team framed the season as an entertainment product as much as a baseball schedule. "The 75-game home schedule is packed with exciting daily promotions, giveaways, specialty jerseys, and themed nights designed to enhance the fan experience." That promotional intensity includes eight giveaways across the year, from the Runza Hockey Jersey on May 30 to a Jac Caglianone bobblehead on July 18 presented by IAMS Wealth Management and a Noah Cameron bobblehead on Aug. 22 presented by Fairfield Inn & Suites of Papillion. Other giveaways include a Pink out the Park T-shirt on June 26, a Storm Chasers Ice Cream Jersey on July 17 presented by Bluejay's Ice Cream & Candy, a Hawaiian shirt on Aug. 1 presented by The Papillion Taco Guy, and an LED Storm Chasers Fan on Sept. 18.
Promotions extend beyond free swag. The Storm Chasers plan 29 theme nights, with early examples that run the calendar gamut: an Easter Egg Hunt on April 5 with a 2:05 p.m. first pitch, an All About Kids Day/Jackie Robinson Day on April 15 with an 11:05 a.m. start, Star Wars Night on May 1, Derby Day on May 2, and Halfway to Halloween on May 3. Specialty jerseys will be worn 14 times, and five of those jerseys will be available for auction after they are used, blending fan engagement with secondary-market revenue.
The club is also targeting older fans with a formal senior program. "Fans aged 55 and wiser can join the Silver Chasers Club presented by Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Nebraska for the 2026 season." Membership includes one ticket to each regular-season Wednesday game, an exclusive Silver Chasers T-shirt, a subscription to the Silver Chasers email newsletter and an invitation to the end-of-season picnic. Four Wednesday games will feature pregame Senior Bingo presented by Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Nebraska, and there will be four postgame Catch on the Field days to extend the in-stadium experience for families.

From a business perspective, the calendar is a clear response to the industry trend of experiential live sports - turning single games into must-attend events through themed activations and sponsor-driven giveaways. Sponsors such as Runza, Great Plains Communication, Bluejay's Ice Cream & Candy, IAMS Wealth Management and Fairfield Inn & Suites of Papillion provide revenue offsets while amplifying local brand ties. The mix of midweek draws like the Silver Chasers Club and marquee giveaways such as bobbleheads and specialty jerseys is designed to smooth attendance across the season and monetize collectibles via auctions.
For fans planning a summer at Werner Park, the practical next steps are straightforward: single-game tickets go on sale Feb. 4 and can be purchased through the team’s website or by calling the Werner Park Ticket Office at (402) 738-5100. With an entertainment-forward approach, the Storm Chasers have turned a minor-league schedule into a season-long festival that could influence attendance patterns and sponsorship strategies across Triple-A baseball.
