WooSox host sixth annual Polar Park job fair for 2026 season
The WooSox will host their sixth annual Polar Park job fair Jan. 17 to recruit part-time and seasonal staff across ballpark operations. This is a key hiring push ahead of a 75 home-game 2026 slate.

The Worcester Red Sox will host their sixth annual Polar Park Job Fair Saturday, Jan. 17, from 10:00 a.m. to noon in the WooSox Clubhouse, seeking part-time and seasonal hires to staff a full slate of 2026 home games. The club is recruiting across ballpark and game-day operations, with openings for ushers, security, facilities, game-day ambassadors, mascot team members, merchandise associates, concessions staff, including cashiers, culinary, premium and warehouse roles, as well as production, ticket operations, clubhouse and grounds crew.
Entry for the job fair will be on DCU Plaza at Gate D along Madison Street; attendees are asked to bring résumés and cover letters. The club also outlined parking options and provided an email contact and an online jobs page for applicants who cannot attend in person. The WooSox noted they have a limited number of summer internships, with applications reviewed on a rolling basis.
The timing is purposeful: the WooSox open their 2026 home schedule March 27 and will play 75 home games. That length of season translates into steady weekend and evening shifts for local hires and creates dozens of seasonal opportunities across guest services, concessions and behind-the-scenes operations. For students, part-timers and folks looking to pick up summer hours, game-day positions are a regular source of earnings and community ties, from interacting with fans at DCU Stadium to maintaining the field and clubhouse that keep Triple-A ball running.
For community members weighing whether to attend, the fair is a practical one-stop shop. Recruiters will be on site to accept applications and point applicants to role-specific requirements; candidates should be ready to discuss availability across nights and weekends and highlight customer-service experience, food-safety training if relevant, and any previous event or stadium work. Internships present an entry path for those seeking baseball operations experience, but candidates should apply early since openings are limited and reviewed on a rolling schedule.
This event also comes as the organization continues to collect local and league recognitions, underscoring a busy season ahead both on and off the field. Whether you're chasing a summer job, an internship, or a part-time side gig that keeps you close to the action, this fair is where the clubhouse meets the community.
Our two cents? Bring a clean résumé, know your schedule windows, and treat the job fair like the first inning of your summer gig, show up ready, make the play, and follow up through the club's email or online jobs page.
