Recharge Launches 2026 Agency Partner Program With Multi-Tier Revenue Benefits
Recharge's 2026 Agency Partner Program offers 10% revenue share for 12 months on merchant referrals, paid quarterly via PartnerStack across four escalating tiers.

Recharge formalized its 2026 Agency Partner Program on March 26, publishing updated documentation that structures the platform's agency relationships into four tiers: Registered, Select, Premier, and Elite. The guide spells out how agencies earn revenue share, merchant introductions, co-marketing access, and co-selling opportunities by hitting defined thresholds tied to annual referred and co-sold contract value.
The core financial incentive is a 10% revenue share paid over 12 months on qualified merchant referrals, distributed quarterly through PartnerStack. Recharge frames this as recognition for agencies that do the full lift of evaluating, implementing, and supporting merchants on the platform, not just passing leads.
Qualifying for the Select tier carries a specific credential requirement: at least one employee must earn both the Recharge Developer badge and the Core Subscription Management Badge through the company's Partner Academy. The academy is positioned as the ongoing mechanism for keeping agency teams current on product updates and features, with Recharge requiring that both project and sales staff attend enablement sessions. Premier builds on those foundations, while the Elite tier is invite-only, reserved for partners demonstrating the highest levels of commercial impact and product expertise, with its own separate requirements documented in dedicated Elite Partner guidelines.
Beyond revenue share, higher tiers unlock access to Partner Managers, who function as internal Recharge advocates for agency accounts, helping identify growth opportunities and supporting deal strategy. Co-marketing rights, thought leadership event participation, and merchant referrals, where Recharge actively routes merchants seeking agency support, also scale with tier status.
The program also leaves room for time-limited bonuses outside the core structure. Partner bonuses, which Recharge may offer to any tier, can reward specific activity like cross-selling new Recharge products or referring existing merchants to product upgrades, with eligibility rules communicated through the Partner Portal or by email.
For agencies building subscription-focused practices, the documented mechanics create a clear commercial framework. Recharge, which counts thousands of merchants on its platform and cites a 97% renewal rate, represents one of the more established routes into recurring-revenue DTC implementation work, and the updated program makes the economics of agency investment in that practice considerably more transparent.
