Charlevoix Church Group Delivers Baby Essentials to Local Hospital for Third Year

For the third consecutive year, a Charlevoix church group organized a community baby shower-style drive and delivered diapers, clothing and basic infant supplies to families at Munson Healthcare Charlevoix Hospital, completing the effort on March 13, 2026.

The drive has become an annual tradition for the group, which frames the collection effort around the communal spirit of a baby shower rather than a standard donation campaign. The approach draws in participants who contribute practical, high-need items that new parents at the hospital can put to immediate use.

Diapers, infant clothing and essential baby supplies made up the bulk of what was delivered this year, continuing the pattern from the previous two drives. Munson Healthcare Charlevoix Hospital, which serves families across the northern Michigan region, received the donated goods directly.
