Vertafore adds AI agents to automate agency email and reconciliation

Vertafore released two new Velocity AI agents inside AgencyOne on June 30, 2026: the Email Agent and the Reconciliation Agent. The Email Agent can cut email processing time by as much as 80% and reach accuracy as high as 98%, while the Reconciliation Agent speeds up carrier-statement reconciliation.

The Email Agent turns Outlook into a structured workspace for unassigned messages. It reads inbound emails, infers intent, extracts key details, matches the message to the right client and policy, and recommends the next step directly in the inbox. The first release supports the creation of activities and suspenses, with agency professionals still reviewing and approving recommendations before anything is finalized. Ashley DeCarteret, principal agency owner at Harbor Brenn Insurance Agencies, said her team “lives in their email all day long” and described the tool as a way to move data into the agency management system so it is visible across the agency instead of trapped in individual inboxes.

A single carrier statement can contain hundreds or thousands of line items. Agencies compare statements against internal records by hand and hunt for discrepancies when workloads are already peaking. The Reconciliation Agent compresses that process into a faster, more controlled workflow inside the same AgencyOne environment and pulls more administrative work into structured workflows that can be tracked and routed.

At Accelerate 2026 on April 14, 2026, Vertafore introduced the Velocity AI Platform and six AI agents across AgencyOne, MGA solutions and Sircon. It also introduced ReferenceConnect AI on April 14 and an integrated certificates solution in AgencyOne on April 16. More than 2,000 people attended Accelerate 2026, where Vertafore ran hands-on AI sessions on submissions, quoting, servicing and client engagement.
