Pizza Hut opened a new Express unit at 15270 Silver Parkway in Fenton with a low-price launch aimed at filling the store fast and putting the operation under immediate pressure. The opening event started at 10:30 a.m. and featured $2 large hand-tossed cheese or pepperoni pizzas, plus a chance to win a $250 Pizza Hut gift card.

The new shop took over the former GameStop space in the plaza with Pita Way and Fenton Deli. That matters for Pizza Hut workers because the Express format is built for a tighter footprint and a faster flow than the old full-service dining rooms the brand once leaned on in many places. In practical terms, that usually means less room to absorb mistakes, more dependence on clean prep and a smoother cut table, and a bigger need for managers to keep the line moving from the moment doors open.

The Fenton listing shows why opening week can be demanding for crew and drivers alike. The store is scheduled to run from 10:30 a.m. to midnight Monday through Thursday and Sunday, then stretch to 1:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. For a new unit, those hours can turn a launch into a long training exercise, with kitchen staff, delivery drivers and closing crew learning the rhythm of the store while orders are already coming in.

Fenton already had a Pizza Hut Express inside Target on Owen Road, making the Silver Parkway store the city’s second location.
