The archival look, first worn by Kate Moss on the runway, belongs to Gianni Versace’s fall 1995 haute couture collection and still reads like a blueprint for brides who want their wedding wardrobe to feel sexy, old-school, and ready for the dance floor.

The dress itself is pure Versace drama in miniature. It is a silver, zip-up silhouette covered in crystals, cut with angled bodice zippers and a rounded neckline, and paired in its original runway moment with crystal-coated knee-high boots. Moss wore it in Paris on July 8, 1995, at the Versace Haute Couture Fall/Winter 1995-1996 show, with a veil and bouquet that pushed the look firmly into bridal territory.
