Katherine Tash is building the part of the bridal closet that comes after the dress. At New York Bridal Fashion Week, the Los Angeles label introduced a wedding veil capsule with Ofrenda Studio, a three-piece collection designed to extend the house’s world into coordinated finishing pieces for modern brides.

The timing matters. Bridal shoppers are no longer stopping at the gown, especially when so many are looking for a single designer to define the full ceremony look, from silhouette to veil to the final, photo-ready layer that frames the face. In that sense, the Katherine Tash and Ofrenda Studio partnership reads less like an accessory drop than a brand expansion strategy, a way to make the bride’s entire visual language feel authored by one house. The capsule was shown with a cocktail-party-style unveiling during New York Bridal Market in early April, and it was presented as an extension of Katherine Tash’s Spring 2027 collection, Chrysalis.

That connection fits the brand’s direction. Katherine Tash founded her bridal line in 2018 after working for several luxury brands in Los Angeles, and the label says its gowns are made to order and handcrafted in its Los Angeles atelier. The brand has long leaned into a balance of contemporary and classic design for the modern romantic bride, and a sculptural veil capsule pushes that idea further. It gives brides a way to build a complete bridal wardrobe, not just choose a dress.

Ofrenda Studio is a natural collaborator for that shift. The veil studio describes its work as reimagining the bridal veil as a sculptural statement rooted in ritual and self-expression, which gives the piece more presence than a traditional finishing touch. That approach has also made Ofrenda a collaborator to watch beyond this project. The studio recently worked with artist Jackie Crespo on another capsule, signaling a broader push to use collaborations as both creative output and business growth.

For Katherine Tash, the veil capsule deepens the label’s universe in a way that feels especially current. Brides want coherence now, not just a beautiful gown in isolation. They want the whole picture to feel considered, from the first step down the aisle to the last frame of the ceremony, and that is exactly where a sculptural veil can do the most work.
