Millie Bobby Brown softens Netflix Upfront look with Paris Texas mules
Millie Bobby Brown traded flash for polish, slipping Paris Texas Lidia mules under a Georges Hobeika couture look at Netflix’s advertiser showcase.

Millie Bobby Brown made the sharpest statement at Netflix’s 2026 Upfront by keeping her look almost whisper-quiet. At Sunset Pier 94 Studios in New York City, she paired a spring 2026 Georges Hobeika couture look with Paris Texas Lidia mules, and the effect was less red-carpet spectacle than a lesson in restraint.
The shoe did the heavy lifting. Paris Texas’ Lidia mule is crafted in Italy from patent leather, cut with a pointed silhouette and set on a block heel of about 70mm, or 2.75 inches. At roughly $745, it sits squarely in luxury territory, but the shape keeps it from feeling fussy. The open back, clean vamp and lean toe line create that rare balance of polish and ease, the kind that lengthens the leg without stealing attention from the clothes.

That mattered because Netflix was not staging a routine photo call. Its upfront presentation brought together Brown, Jennifer Lopez, Hasan Minhaj, John Cena, Ted Sarandos and the 1999 World Cup champion women’s soccer team, a lineup designed to speak directly to advertisers. Deadline also placed Brown among the star names helping Netflix sell the event, alongside Florence Pugh, while the broader crowd included Brittany Snow, Malin Akerman and Pete Davidson. The room was built to feel big, and Brown answered with the opposite of excess.
Georges Hobeika’s Spring/Summer 2026 couture collection gave the outfit a formal runway-to-red-carpet frame, with the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode recognizing it as part of the house’s official couture calendar. Against that backdrop, the Paris Texas mules softened the entire read. They kept the look sleek, but not severe; minimal, but not blank. That is exactly why the pairing landed.
Brown’s styling showed how a simple shoe choice can change the temperature of a couture look. The mules brought the kind of quiet confidence that feels especially current now, when the most convincing luxury signals are often the least obvious ones. On a stage packed with Lopez, Pugh and Cena, Brown’s understated heel made the clearest impression.
