Vivica A. Fox’s geometric white pedicure elevates pink crystal spring style
Vivica A. Fox turned pink crystal heels into a lesson in restraint, using a geometric white pedicure to sharpen the shine. The result made Kurt Geiger London’s Mother’s Day dressing feel deliberate, not overdone.

Kurt Geiger London leaned into pink with uncommon precision for its spring 2026 Mother’s Day collection, a five-style handbag edit that ranged from a sparkling embellished clutch to a purse finished with floral appliqués. The brand chose Tina Knowles, 72, to front the campaign because she fits the spirit of modern motherhood in a way that feels lived-in rather than manufactured, and the luncheon at Avra in Beverly Hills gave that idea a glossy, intimate setting.
Held on Friday, April 17, at Avra in Los Angeles, the gathering centered on motherhood, self-expression and family. Knowles previewed an unreleased excerpt from the upcoming paperback re-release of Matriarch: A Memoir, due April 28, 2026, turning a fashion luncheon into something closer to a cultural stop on the spring calendar. Terry Ellis of En Vogue, Lela Rochon, Ty Hunter, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, Vivica A. Fox and Yvette Noel-Schure filled out the room, a guest list that made the afternoon feel both polished and pointedly Black Hollywood.
Fox was the detail that made the styling click. She wore pink crystal sandals with a matching crystal bag and a blush embellished set, but it was her geometric white pedicure that kept the look from collapsing into a monotone wash of shimmer. The nail shape brought a graphic edge to all that candy-colored sparkle, making the shoes read as intentional instead of overly coordinated. It was the kind of small styling move that separates a party look from a costume: one element needs to interrupt the gloss.

That is exactly why Fox’s repeat of the same pedicure mattered. She had already worn the geometric white nail design in February at the 8th annual American Black Film Festival Honors, where she paired it with crystal René Caovilla sandals. Seen twice in quick succession, the pedicure now looks less like a one-off and more like a signature, a crisp white counterpoint to the season’s appetite for high-shine color. When the rest of the outfit is already speaking in crystals, pink and embellishment, that sharp little square at the toe is what keeps the entire look from floating away.
