11.11/eleven eleven Opens Delhi Flagship, Blending Artisanal Craft With Global Ambition
11.11/eleven eleven, the Delhi label whose indigo shirts appeared on Brad Pitt in the F1 film, opened its Lodi Colony flagship on April 6.

The label that dressed Brad Pitt in hand-spun indigo for the F1 film now has a flagship worthy of the craft behind it. 11.11/eleven eleven opened its new Lodi Colony store in New Delhi on April 6, marking the brand's most considered statement yet about what slow fashion looks like when it scales without shortcutting.
Co-founders Shani Himanshu, a Domus Academy Milan alumnus, and Mia Morikawa, a Central Saint Martins graduate, established the label in 2008 under parent company CellDSGN Pvt. Ltd. around a founding principle they call "seed to stitch": every garment traces its lineage from indigenous cotton fields through artisan hands to the final hem. The Lodi Colony flagship is designed as a physical argument for that philosophy, showcasing handloom textiles, plant-based dyes, and a production methodology that cannot be accelerated without changing what the product is.
The brand's techniques are specific enough to constitute a curriculum in pre-industrial textile craft. Weavers hand-spin and hand-loom indigenous Kala cotton and khadi; dyers work with indigo leaves, pomegranate shell, and ferrous and tamarind seed solutions to produce the label's characteristic palette of deep indigo, smoke, and amber. Miniature tie-dyeing, bandhani, kalamkari, and mud-resist hand painting complete the vocabulary, each technique tied to artisan communities distributed across India. Visiting the store means encountering these processes as context, not backstory, and understanding why repairability is not a feature but a structural condition of how the clothes are made.
The pricing reflects the labour involved. International stockists list pieces ranging from the Breeze Indigo Shirt at $385 to the Heavyweight Batic Long Sleeve Overshirt at $772, placing 11.11 firmly in the luxury tier it has always claimed. That positioning now has a global address book to match: the brand is stocked in more than 20 countries, including Japan, France, the United States, Australia, Brazil, Kuwait, and Singapore.
Lodi Colony, with its tree-lined avenues adjacent to Delhi's gallery district, is a deliberate neighbourhood choice for a brand whose retail spaces have consistently functioned as installations. The earlier BASEMENT concept store, tucked beneath the label's own Okhla Industrial Area workshop, featured seating upholstered in indigo patchwork from reclaimed fabric scraps and a brass indigo vat at the entrance as both décor and process demonstration. The Lodi Colony flagship scales that sensibility into something more openly accessible.
The brand's cultural crossover came when Mia Morikawa collaborated with costume designer Julian Day on the F1 film, placing an 11.11 indigo shirt on Pitt's back. That visibility brought new audiences to a label that spent nearly two decades building credibility with buyers in Tokyo and Paris before the algorithm took notice. The Lodi Colony store is built for the Delhi consumer who can touch the cloth, trace the dye source, and judge the weave on its own terms.
