Khakis and nonnative Creative Consensus capsule blends vintage workwear and technical tailoring
Khakis and nonnative drop the Creative Consensus capsule today, Feb. 27, 2026, with a WINDSTOPPER-reinforced Dweller Coat, 11.5 oz painter-inspired denim, and a Timberland footwear tie-up.

Khakis and nonnative release the Creative Consensus capsule today, February 27, 2026, with inventory available through nonnative shops and Khakis retailers as well as Khakis and COVERCHORD’s online stores, COVERCHORD Fukuoka, the nonnative shop Osaka, and Khakis Yeonhui and Seongsu. “When? Friday, the 27th of February,” the launch notice reads, and the drop ties both brands’ direct retail and partner stores to the timed roll-out.
This is the first-ever capsule between Seoul-based Khakis and Tokyo label nonnative, a deliberate meeting of two regional sensibilities. The collaboration was teased in mid-February ahead of today’s release, and the partners cast the project as a “utility-driven menswear edit bridging American vintage workwear and Japanese technical tailoring,” a framing that informs fabric choices and silhouettes across the collection.
The capsule’s technical anchor is the “WINDSTOPPER-reinforced Dweller Coat.” Constructed in a cotton-linen canvas and reinforced with a WINDSTOPPER® membrane, the Dweller Coat is positioned as the piece that fuses outdoor protection with a vintage canvas hand. Bottoms emphasize work-wardrobe durability: “rugged Worker Trousers in canvas and vintage-washed denim” appear alongside a denim variant described as 11.5 oz vintage-washed denim inspired by traditional painter pants. Tops include “comfortably worn-in flannel check shirts,” contrast-rib sweatshirts, hooded sweatshirts, and co-branded t-shirts, while overcoats round out the outerwear options.
Accessories and footwear complete the edit. Corduroy six-panel caps bookend the workwear sensibility, and a curated footwear collaboration with Timberland supplies the capsule’s boots and shoes. “The collection is rounded out by corduroy six-panel caps and a curated footwear collaboration with Timberland, offering elevated menswear staples designed for longevity,” the launch copy states, underscoring the emphasis on lasting pieces rather than seasonal novelty.

Visually the campaign leans into the collaboration’s duality. The lookbook juxtaposes quiet natural settings with urban presence to illustrate the dual influences that shape the capsule’s character; models wander through untouched landscapes while the city looms in the background. The imagery suite is substantial, spanning more than two dozen lookbook frames, reinforcing a narrative that pairs Khakis’ optimistic lens with the moodier side of nonnative in the colour palette.
For shoppers who favor utility and considered construction, Creative Consensus offers a clear edit: WINDSTOPPER protection in a cotton-linen coat, painter-inspired 11.5 oz denim, durable canvas trousers, and Timberland-backed footwear – all available now through the named brand shops and partner retailers.
