New Era Unveils MLB Spring 2026 Caps Including 9FORTY APEX, 39THIRTY INFINITY
New Era launches the 39THIRTY INFINITY seamless crown and 9FORTY APEX performance fit; Spring Training caps for all 30 MLB teams are available now.

New Era unveiled its MLB Spring 2026 cap lineup, spotlighting two new silhouettes - the 9FORTY APEX, billed as a lightweight performance fit, and the 39THIRTY INFINITY, a seamless stretch cap aimed at players and fans. The Spring Training Collection is available now through New Era’s online store and the official MLB shop, the Clubhouse Collection was released on February 23, and the Batting Practice Collection arrives March 2.
The 39THIRTY INFINITY is the technical headline: “Made in a lightweight, breathable material, the cap is a seamless design with a one-piece crown that has no panels or construction stitching,” New Era’s materials state. Inside the cap is “a new terry stretch sweatband with moisture wicking and anti-microbial technology,” positioning the Infinity as a solution for long days in the sun and a candidate to “disrupt the stretch headwear space.” New Era frames the 39THIRTY as a Clubhouse Collection key piece designed to move from player prep to fanwear; the brand describes the Clubhouse Collection as “designed to help players stay cool and comfortable before they return to the field.”
On-shelf imagery and merchandising tie the new silhouettes to familiar team DNA, New Era used Los Angeles Dodgers 59FIFTY, 9FORTY APEX, and 39THIRTY INFINITY caps in its launch materials, while SportsLogos.Net reports that Spring Training designs span all thirty teams. Those Spring Training caps lean into seasonal motifs, with Cactus League teams carrying blooming cactus embroidery and southwestern side patches, and Grapefruit League teams showing an embroidered grapefruit and a Miami Vice-style beach and palm tree lockup. SportsLogos also notes that on-field Spring Training caps use the 59FIFTY silhouette and that nine different retail silhouettes will be offered.
Retail rollout is already granular. New Era’s product pages list Clubhouse SKUs and prices: Athletics 2026 Clubhouse 59FIFTY Fitted for $55.99, Athletics 2026 Clubhouse 9FORTY M-Crown A-Frame Snapback for $40.99, Athletics 2026 Clubhouse 9SEVENTY Stretch-Snap for $49.99, and Athletics 2026 Clubhouse 39THIRTY M-Crown Stretch Fit for $45.99. Team-specific items include the Arizona Diamondbacks 2026 Clubhouse Shadow Tech 39THIRTY INFINITY Stretch Fit Hat at $57.99 and Arizona Diamondbacks 2026 Clubhouse Black & White 59FIFTY Fitted at $55.99.
Marketing for the rollout includes New Era’s “Lost & Found” campaign starring Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll and Detroit Tigers pitcher Tarik Skuba, and the brand’s messaging leans into product innovation. “Through our longstanding partnership with MLB, New Era has built a deep understanding of the players’ needs and a commitment to bringing fans fresh, inspiring looks,” said Steve Gallo, General Manager, North America at New Era. “As the leader in the headwear space, we approached the MLB Spring 2026 Collections with a focus on innovation and craftsmanship.”
Collectors should note a limited retail wrinkle: HatClub launched a curated drop of 26 custom New Era 59FIFTYs with Spring Training patches on February 19, marketed as limited supply. With Spring Training designs live across team assortments and the Clubhouse and Batting Practice capsules staged for staggered release, New Era is betting its new 9FORTY APEX and 39THIRTY INFINITY will pull both players and fans into a season of lighter, performance-minded headwear.
